Concept

you give everything and get nothing in return. Ungrateful?! People would say. The universe thinks different. There are places in space, where gravity is so strong, that all nearby matter is sucked in. first you see a distortion, then nothing. Not even light. What remains is a black hole. But isn’t nothing also something? In that case, we do get something in return. Black nothing surrounded with distorted matter. Invisible for the naked eye, but if you look closely you will see. And so you give nothing and get everything in return.

This is my interpretation of a black hole, based on what I know and can shape. A snapshot of a second in which all matter surrounding a black hole is distorted and the last light fights in vain for a place in the universe.
